Removal of tonsils

This procedure is referred to as tonsillectomy. Its usually performed
under general anesthesia. It involves the removal of entire tonsils, which are usually chronically inflamed. It is done in our facility using the so-called cold technique – scalpel and scissors.

Size reduction of
tonsils

This procedure, called a tonsillotomy, is performed under general or local anesthesia. Its goal is the reduction of the tonsils, which are significantly enlarged and act as a mechanical obstacle. Usually when breathing. They cause, for example, snoring, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and the like. In our facility, it is usually done using radio frequency technology.

Palate remodelation
including uvula.

It is a surgery with a goal of eliminating snoring, by remodelling soft palate and uvula. It is performed under local or general anesthesia. It is done either by radio frequency technique
or scalpel.

Stone removal
from submandibular gland.

It involves the removal of a stone formations from the duct of the salivary gland. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. It does not require a long recovery. The goal is to restore functionality of salivary pathway
and treat symptoms associated with the presence of obstruction.

Plastic surgery of the nasal concha - in case of difficulty breathing through the nose

Technically also called turbinoplasty, it represents a reduction in the volume of the nasal concha in chronic rhinitis
in order to improve breathing through the nose. Its usually performed
in local anesthesia using a radiofrequency needle.

Plastic surgery of the nasal septum

It is a plastic surgery of a deformed nasal septum called septoplasty, which causes problems with nasal breathing. It is done under general anesthesia, through the nostrils. The goal is not to remove the nasal septum, but to modify and create
straight septum that allows unobstructed breathing through the nose.

Removal of nasal tonsil and palate tonsils.

In medical terminology, endoscopic adenotomy
and tonsillectomy, aims to remove diseased tonsils and nasal vegetations, under general anesthesia.

Nasal turbinates surgery and nasal septum surgery

It is a combination of nasal concha plastic surgery and nasal obstruction plastic surgery (turbinoplasty and septoplasty) with the aim of improving nasal breathing. It is performed under general anesthesia.
