Cataract surgery with implantation of an artificial intraocular lens

This is a common procedure to restore vision. During the procedure, the cloudy lens is removed and replaced with an artificial one. The procedure involves local anesthesia, a small incision, removal of the cloudiness, and implantation of an intraocular lens. The result is improved vision and usually a quick recovery. Your doctors will give you instructions after surgery.

Secondary intraocular lens implantation into the anterior chamber of the eye or into the ciliary sulcus

It is a surgical procedure for restoring the vision. After creating a small incision in the eye, the artificial lens is placed into the anterior chamber or ciliary sulcus. This procedure helps restore the patient’s vision.

Plastic surgery on the eyelashes as ecropium, entropium and blepharochalasia

Ecropium: outward eyelid position
Entropium: retraction of the eyelid torwards the eye, often such eyelid irritates the eye
Blepharochalasia: loss of tension and elasticity of the skin of the upper eyelids, prolapse of orbital fat occurs

These procedures are performed to improve eye comfort and vision and require precise surgical care.
Your doctors will give you detailed information about the procedure
and postoperative care.

Pterygium surgery

It involves the removal of a creeping tissue growth on the surface of the eye, called a pterygium. This procedure is performed to improve patient comfort and visual function.

During the operation, the pterygium is removed and then plastic surgery is performed to help minimize the risk
of regrowth.

Operation
of eyelash tumors

The goal of the operation is to remove the tumor with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue and restore aesthetics
of the eye and eyelid function. The procedure itself and the type of operation will depend on the nature of the tumor and its location.

Operation
of conjunctival tumors

It is a surgical procedure that is performed to remove a tumor that has developed on the conjunctiva. The conjunctiva is a thin layer of tissue that covers the front of the eye and the inner parts of the eyelids. The goal of the operation is to remove the tumor with minimal damage to the surrounding tissue and to preserve vision and eye function.

Ptosis correction
of upper eyelash

Ptosis is a drop of the eyelid compared to its natural position. This problem can lead to a limited field of vision and discomfort. The operation is performed
in order to improve visual functions and patient comfort. Through surgery, the lid is lifted to a normal position and thus the aesthetics of the eye are corrected.

Covering the cornea using amniotic membrane

The amniotic membrane allows ophthalmologists to treat diseases of the surface of the eye. The amniotic membrane is obtained from the fetal membranes. It is the innermost part of the fetal envelope and, due to its exceptional properties, is used in the treatment of many pathological conditions. This membrane contains growth factors and substances that promote healing and renewal of corneal tissue. The goal of this procedure is to reduce inflammation, speed up healing, and minimize scarring, improving patients comfort and vision.

Extirpation
of chalazeon

A chalazeon is a painful inflammation of the sebaceous gland. This condition
occurs when opening of the sebaceous gland becomes blocked,
leading to the formation of a lump or inflammation on the eyelid.
The solution is surgical removal of the inflamed gland.
It is a common and effective procedure that does not require a long recovery.
